About these terms
These terms cover this website and the copies of Luma you download from it. The site and Luma are run by the Luma team. By using the site or installing Luma you accept them. How we handle data is explained in the privacy policy.
Downloading Luma
Download Luma only from this site or from links we publish on it or on our Discord. Copies offered anywhere else are not ours and may have been modified.
Luma is software in active development. New versions can contain bugs, so keep a copy of anything important, such as your bookmarks.
Licence
You may install and use Luma on your own devices. Luma’s code, name, logo and design belong to its makers: you may not sell Luma, redistribute modified copies or present other software as Luma without written permission.
Luma includes open-source components, such as Chromium and Electron, that remain under their own licences. The full list ships with the app.
Beta testing
Beta versions are shared on Discord to be tested before release. Please do not redistribute them. Taking part is voluntary and you can stop whenever you like.
Using the site and the community
Do not use the site or our Discord to break the law, to attack or overload our services, to spread malware or to harass other people. On Discord, the server rules and Discord’s own terms also apply, and moderators can remove anyone who does not respect them.
Other sites
This site links to sites we do not control, such as Discord and the Chrome Web Store. We are not responsible for their content or for how they work.
Warranty and liability
Luma and this site are provided as they are. We do our best to keep them working and secure, but we cannot promise they will always be free of errors or interruptions.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data arising from the use of Luma. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer law in Italy and the European Union gives you.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; the new version is published here with a new date. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in and can go to the courts there.
