This site is run by the Luma team, based in Italy. You can reach us on our Discord server, discord.lumabrowser.dev.

Trademarks

Luma and its logo are used by the makers of Luma. Chrome, Chromium and the Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC; Edge and Windows of Microsoft Corporation; Brave of Brave Software, Inc.; macOS of Apple Inc.; Linux of Linus Torvalds; Discord of Discord Inc. They are named only to describe compatibility and to compare browsers. Luma is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them.

The comparison table describes each browser’s default settings as we found them in September 2026. If something is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

Screenshots

The screenshots on this site are real captures of Luma. The websites that appear in them (Fieldnotes, Notebook, Slow Kitchen and the others) are demo pages written for this site; they do not exist and are not related to any real company.

Credits and licences

Luma is built on Chromium (BSD-style licence) and Electron (MIT). The tracker and ad filters come from EasyList and EasyPrivacy (GPL-3.0 or CC BY-SA 3.0). This site uses Next.js and Lenis (MIT), and the Instrument Sans, Instrument Serif and IBM Plex Mono typefaces (SIL Open Font License 1.1). Thanks to everyone who works on them.
